1 month left for posting...
Hey gals i am back and live and kicking. Wow, sounds so lively....well.... Oh ya, I get to online today because it's an off day tomorrow for us and all my friends went back. Yeah, went back even there's 1 day off. So, me too hehhehe but I just be at my brother's house so that I can online!
Wow...I've seen so many things in this 1 month! And, also I've done so many stuffs I've never done before hehehe.... It all began when I went to the ward with leprosy women ward. There's mostly elderly ladies in the ward. And then I met an old lady...she's over 80 years of age. She is bedridden and could only lie on her bed. I feed her every day, changed her pampers and do some quick bath with my friends on her. She could not talk properly and only could mumble words....she speaks to me in Hokkien and Malay (she is smart enough to know that I am terrible in my own mother tongue :-P) However, I still try to undertsand everything that she says and what she's trying to say. If you fulfil her wish, she will give a thumbs up sign (cool huh?) There's one day when I cut her finger nail and toe nails. She was so happy that time and I was surprised to hear that she is singing! She sang an old hokkien song, probably my late grandma knows the song. She sang and smile.....and when I laugh, she laughed too..... That was my sweetest memory and I miss her dearly. I am now in another ward already.
Sometimes when I feed her, I will think of my late grandmas. I felt guilty that I didn't give them this kind of care when they were still alive. At times I wish they are still around now so that I can give them the care that I've learnt to give now.
