Merdeka yay.... ohhh no, BORING day!

Eik` I don't have much mood to blog these days and now I'll just blog to combat my sleepiness. Today is Merdeka and it's an off day. Went to Jusco for some shopping... I tell u people, I am addicted to Johnny's restaurant fried rice. I like the Thai Pineapple flavour. Each time when I go Jusco I will think of the fried rice. It's about rm5.95, still okay considerring the Pineapple fried rice I ate at Yee's that cost about rm7.40.
Yes, I will get broke very very soon since I eat there very regularly for my lunch. In fact, I am pretty much broke now.

My mom read a book about managing finances and talked to me about the writer's urge it's readers to live below what they could afford. Like say, if you could really afford a Rm2,500 handphone but just prefer to go for a rm250 one. I think that is a really good and useful way to save your hard-earned money. I for one, am not really living within my means. I don't spend a lot but eating at Yee's everyday is certainly not saving money for me. If I were to live within my means, I would be driving a second hand kancil or some car that would only need say rm 300 per month as monthly installment. If I were to pay for my own car, I would be seriously selling the one I am driving now as it would make me so bloody damn broke. I should be very thankful that all this while my parents are paying for it.

However, I am thinking of taking the responsibilities of paying for my own car now. If so, I would be asking my mom to sell my current car and I will look for some second-handed old car. Do you think it's worth it? It's good to be responsible for paying for your own expenses right? Am I thinking the right way and doing the right thing here? I think so. Nobody will lose anything, in fact my parents can save that money they have been paying for my car every month. However, my decision is not finalized yet.

Dreamin' of him

I will talk about my convo when I get some of the pics... no use posting about it but no pics to show hahaha. The thing is, I don't have any pics with me now.
Yesterday I dreamt of someone. I wonder why he's still appearing in my dreams? He came back to Malaysia and said he is working in 4 different countries that I think is Rusia, Holland, Malaysia, Singapore...something like that and said he will only be back once in a while. I am definitely given up on this particular guy. And for you that wonder who this guy is, he is NOT my first crush.
I hope that I will not dream of him anymore. Even it was just a dream but you tend to think of that person again...not that much though...just in the morning and it all went away after my hard day's work....Thank goodness!
It's very pathethic to say that I have not liked any guy after this particular one. And it has been 2 years already. I don't have the fate. Maybe I don't have the confident to like anyone anymore. Maybe I am just tired of liking anybody. Don't get me wrong, I would really be glad to like somebody right now. I felt that I could be better when I am liking somebody. Better in the sense that I could be much more cheerful. When you have someone to like, all you have to do is think of him to cheer you up. What's more looking at him? It could cheer my whole day and night up....maybe last for days. Too bad I do not have that person right now.

Weird humans

We were all given a list of customer names for contacting them to visit the bank next week. The reason is our bank will be having a roadshow on current accounts and fixed deposits next Monday. All officers and tellers are suppose to call over 60 of them each to come. We also will be serving them some refreshments. But we heard it would only be 2 types of kuihs and some drink. Yeah, we are very afraid that the customers who come will expect much more and better delicacies. So, one staff suggested to tell the customers that we will be serving deep fried biawak and sambal cicak instead hahaha. Gross huh?

I had experienced some weird customers so far as I call them up to invite them to our roadshow.

Me: (Greeting and explain the roadshow details)
Customer A: Have you seen me before?
Me: No, I have not seen you before.
Customer A: Then how come you got my contact?
Me: I got it from my superior as we were asked to call up customers.
Customer A: Have I seen you before?
Me: No, I don't think that you've seen me before.
Customer A: Which part are you working at?
Me: Customer Service
Customer A: Upstairs?
Me: (Lying) Yeah upstairs.

I seriously hope this customer will not be coming...for ur infor, he happen to be as old as my dad.

With Customer B halfway through our communication.
Me: We will be serving some light refreshments like some kuihs.
Customer B: Got nasi??
Me: Nolah, not enough budget.

With Customer C halfway through our communication.
Me: There will be some light refreshments like some kuihs.
Customer C: Got pau??
Me: Pau???

With Customer D.
Me: We will be having a roadshow next Monday.
Customer D: What will you all be doing, showing roads?
Me: What???
Customer D: You'll be having a roadshow, why are you all showing us the roads?
I know the place already, don't need to show me the road.
Me: Okay, that's funny.

After all that weird customers, I began to think whether our customers are all normal or just a-little-bit off? But, they did make us have a laugh over it~

A DaY in m|dVAlLeY

Went to Nilai College with Meavy, May Jee and her bro to collect my robe yesterday. That thing looked really ugly and baggy and...black. Honestly, I felt like from Abraham Lincoln's era...or should I say I looked ghostly in it. Alright, I should not criticize my graduation robe so much but I might have not know how ugly it looked like until I saw it and tried on it yesterday....Urgh... Come on, we are living in the 21st centure where in events like this I'd imagine people wearing space suits. But no, we are wearing the old, big, baggy and ugly robe.

Went to Midvalley and ate lunch there. I tell you, 5 hours there is still not quite enough for the three of us. Went to look for clothes and shoes/sandals...actually most of the time it was meavy and may jee. I tell you there's one stupid shop. The name is Mango or MnG. This stupid shop give away plastic/paper bags depending on what you buy. A new arrival purchase will get the paper handbags and other stocks will get an oversized big transparent plastic bag! What stupid rule is that??? For one, I hate that shop eversince the first time I saw it and I honestly have not buy a single toot from that shop and do I intend to buy any in future? Let's see how the toot that shop change it's principle first.

Yawn~

I am actually about to sleep already. But since I won't be blogging for the next few days and had told meavy that I'll be updating my blog tonite so I better write something. It's 1.45 in the morning now.

There's quite a few activities going on these two weeks and my 'big day' will be next Saturday 27th August. I am finally graduating next week. I don't feel all that excited about it but I guess I should just psycho myself to make me feel that next Saturday is actually a very memorable day for me. First of all, the spoiler is that it will be held in my college's Presidential Hall... That was really disappointing for me as I had been imagining attending my graduation in hotel ballrooms.
Okay, so nothing much that I can do about that anyway.

I am going to the movies tomorrow with auds watching Herbie. This Sunday, I will be visiting my college to collect my robe. Meavy and May Jee will be coming along and so we planned to go Midvalley together. I think I am going to buy some products from Body Shop as I've been scouting around the web and I am looking for a face mask. I also hope to get something for my dogs from Pets World. Hahaha and I gotta make sure I won't be spending over my limit as I think I am going to set a limit for myself. Don't get me wrong but I've been spending quite a lot these two months.

Oh yeah, Thursday nite I went out with Meavy and May Jee to Secret Recipe. I liked the chicken barbeque with rice and iced lemon tea set dinner. Tried two flavours of cakes and still find Oreo Cheese the best...anyhow hahaha. Those who tried it before will know what I mean!

Okay it's 2 am now and I should go and get some sleep....might read my story book first.
I think I will be blogging next Monday or so.
I sold my Nokia 1100 for RM100 today. I am happy about the price....quite happy lah. At least I got something in return wakakaka~

M'sian Idol Result

I hope Ejay will be out tomorrow. Well, the fact is I hate her singing as she don't really have the talent and voice. I think her singing was horrible on Friday. Daniel is too sissy and always mumble rubbish when he sings. I can't stand him coz he looks so much like a girl. Ash looked somewhat egoistic at times and he couldn't reach high notes. Orang Kampung is really hillarious and I enjoyed looking at him performing. Farah is really pretty and her voice is powerful too. The Red hair girl's voice is okay but she is too skinny. The girl with shortest hair sings decently but still not good enough and I think Red hair girl's hair is better. Oh there's one more right? The Malay boy. I think he got a big lips and his singing is not bad but he is not macho enough...quite sissy too.
The most macho guys in M'sian Idol now are Orang Kampung and Ash....what a pity huh?

That's all for today's short post about my favourite show at the moment.
Let just see who will be out tomorrow 10pm on 8tv.

Back...

Back from da training. Actually I'm not really in the mood to blog now but since I got no better things to do..or shall I say lazy to do other stuffs so here I am blogging~

Well, first of all I want to highlight on the VERY BAD AIR QUALITY in KL. Just walking outside for few minutes left my throat feeling all dry. The air had one type of smell...something like the smell of a person who smokes, and the smell stayed on my clothes eventhough I walked for about merely 10 minutes to hunt for lunch.

I went to Pudu bus station for the first time. I think it's quite a shame for Malaysia really. I was surprised to see the state of the bus station that is situated in the heart of KL. It was crowded, dirty, smelly, messy and stuffy. Melaka Central was much better. Talking about Wawasan2020? It's a long way more to go....

Went to shopping in Midvalley from 7 till closing time at 10pm, then took taxi back to the hotel apartment. The place was fine, room was spacious and much better than the cheapest First World hotel rooms. I stayed with an officer CSR from Banting. She was nice and friendly. She gave me 3 vitaminC pills to eat hahaha.

The training was okay, except that I don't really understand the calculation part hahaha. Just don't give me a test on that. Towards the end, it was getting a little boring for me and I started to scratch my head and playing with my hair...who cares how silly I looked anyway.

Got headache since yesterday and the truth was, I kinda suffered the whole travelling with taxi and bus thing. With my heavy baggage and not being my healthiest, waiting and walking looking for the public transport was a drag. Anyway, ate Panadol when I came back and I'm fine now.

Black Purple Pink...today's colour? Hmm if all added up, the black would overpower all the other colours....Dumb...how dumb.... Ah..forget abt that...

Gonna pack some energy for tomorrow. Will be at work till 1pm then have a quick lunch and off to KL for training. I am going to sit an express bus with my colleague to KL...my first time siting an express bus. I have sat buses to outstation before but it's either school bus or tour bus and they don't require buying tickets from bus station you see... Oh ya, what type of bus was it that brought me to Genting during my days with good ol' Jusco huh...?
The training is about Overdraft...let's see....what is that? I roughly know 'some' about it after I asked my mom. But then I found out there are different kinds of overdraft. One which is charging your property to exchange with a value you need for other expenses. Let's see what the online dictionary says...an amount of money that a customer with a bank account is temporarily allowed to owe to the bank, or the agreement. Erm...don't sound that accurate to me...let's see another source...to draw checks on (a bank account) for more than the balance. Ahhh...dat's it. The rest let myself find out during the 1-day training...Duh~
Actually, I am wonderring how my buds is doing? Hope she is fine by now. Lately, life wasn't too kind on her. I also hope she won't get mad at me as I sounded quite harsh in her sms, as I might not realize at that time that she was already feeling really bad at herself. I was just too...shocked? Maybe shock is a little over it...erm but I was kinda too surprised? I just hope she's still not all sad over it. You did say there's no point crying over a spilt milk rite? I guess I've said enough to her in my msg so I won't say anymore of it. BUT I hope that she'll realize that her friends do care about her as much as she would have thought...If you need a group hug or whatsoever, I am sure they'll be there for you. You won't be alone.

Friday 5th August

Erm I am not sure what title to put for this post actually, so just write the day and date hahah. Tomorrow after work, my colleagues are going to Portuguese Settlement for a farewell dinner. This place is great if you like seafood and also the breeze from the sea. It's a farewell for an ex-teller of the bank, which I did not work with since she had left before I joined the company. Anyway, almost all colleagues at the ground floor (operation site) will be going. I do not know why but even though I do not know this particular teller and basically have nothing to do with her, I felt like going to the farewell dinner. Being an anti-social, that is quite weird...

One thing that brought me to decide in going is that the staffs are all friendly and I am kind of used to being with them already even though it had only been nearly 2 months working with them. I do not know about the fun I'll have tomorrow but I have the feeling that the food will be good...even though I can't eat those big juicy prawns hahaha...

Oh ya, tomorrow is the starting of the 7th month, Hungry Ghost time of the year hahaha... I am not sure about the Do's and Don't's during the month. When I was younger, I thought that going out in the night was really creepy and even dangerous as they'd say ghosts would roam around freely in the night and you wouldn't want to be their victim. I am not superstitious but perhaps I am quite childish as I do believe in ghost stories. However, no need to worry about it if you have not committed any sins. Not sure about whether you will come across them but I think they will not bring any harm to an innocent living.
